While I was soaking up the sun and ocean in Mexico last week, I heard the following from the Dalai Lama:
“No matter what is going on
Never give up
Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country
Is spent developing the mind
Instead of the heart
Be compassionate
Not just to your friends
But to everyone
Be compassionate
Work for peace
In your heart and in the world
Work for peace
And I say again
Never give up
No matter what is going on around you
Never give up.”
I was so pleased to hear the Dalai Lama use my favorite mantra. He’s right, we need to be more compassionate to everyone, especially during this time of political sabotage. I’m so weary of the taunts and shouts that get yelled at our communities.
I will work for peace. Will you?

For an easier way to blog, start with Wixx. Start small and then as you learn more sophistication you can try WordPress (WP). WP has so many options to choose from that it will make your head spin and frustrate you. Make creating a blog a happy adventure. If so, you’ll continue to improve and learn new things.
