Our new year herald in an unconscionable event in U.S. history. On January 6, 2021, a coup to destroy democracy, an attempt by insurgents who believe that Donald Trump is the next Messiah, tried to take our freedom away. I watched in disbelief
as a mob broke into the nation’s capitol building trying to take power into their own hands.
