Dear Health and Wellness Seekers:

Are you as angry as me? If you’re not you’re not paying attention! I haven’t been able to add a new post recently because of my rage. It’s not my purpose to add to the angst and frustration you’re already feeling, but I must add my voice to the millions who are feeling like me.

Our Rally Cry

I went to the Hands Off rally at the State Capital in St. Paul. The crowd was enormous and I took great pride in our community. Unfortunately, There was a crowd of tRumpsters that wanted to drown out our voices. We didn’t let them — we just yelled louder! We will not be silenced.

I wonder a lot how the “felon” can keep up his antics. Yes, we all know he’s an idiot, and his team shields him from the over 2 million Americans who joined in rallies across the nation on Saturday. All the while he was playing/watching golf. How absolutely disrespectful! He didn’t even bother to attend the arrival of the four service people who died. Ragefully disgusting!

Here are some tips to get us through this tumultuous time:

  1. Stop reading the newspapers. If I could count all the times the felon’s name is mentioned I’d be a billionaire. (Pun intended.)
  2. Stop watching Fox News. I wouldn’t be surprised if Musky is bribing them to keep the “fake” stories going.
  3. Resist anything the felon and Mr. Musky say and do. They only care about themselves and not us. I would think this is obvious by now.
  4. Be okay with being angry — if not downright rageful. Write your senators or call them to do something about this. That’s their jobs. It’s not okay to just sit back and let other people do this difficult work. We ALL need to do the work to bring democracy back.
  5. Remember that extreme stress can make you sick. (See my book, Never Give Up: Break the Connection Between Stress and Illness, for tools to help you survive.)

I’m trying so hard to stay hopeful, but like many of you this is really difficult to do. Please remind yourself that you are not alone. So many people feel the way you do, and you should not be embarrassed. As an American, you have the right to be angry at how the felon is running our country. Remember, it’s OUR country!

I wish us all PEACE!!!
